Become a contributor to Plaintiff Plaintiff magazine is looking for contributing writers who have the desire to advance their practices by sharing their experience, research and advice with colleagues. Plaintiff is a nuts-and-bolts journal for trial practice. Each month, experienced attorneys will present informative articles revealing how they craft complaints, maximize discovery and use voir dire effectively to win actions in torts such as employment, auto accidents, medical malpractice, products liability and insurance bad faith.
In-depth articles will explore case law, case preparation, handling defendants pretrial motions, and making successful arguments to the jury. Other practitioners will discuss the most effective way to use alternative dispute forums such as arbitration and mediation. Experienced expert witnesses will provide primers in their fields of expertise.
With the debut of Plaintiff, your expertise can be placed in front of 5,300 trial lawyers in Northern and Central California. Plaintiff is unique because it reaches beyond the local trial lawyer associations to connect you with plaintiffs lawyers throughout all of Northern and Central California, including San Francisco, East Bay, San Jose, Sacramento, Redding, the Central Valley and Central Coast.
Plaintiff is published by Neubauer & Associates, a California legal publisher for over 15 years. Since 2002, Neubauer & Associates has published Advocate magazine for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. With a circulation of 8,500 throughout eight counties in Southern California, Advocate is a respected publication and the largest regional trial lawyer magazine in the country.
We welcome your contributions on any aspect of trial practice at any time. To make each issue of Plaintiff vital and interesting to the largest possible number of readers, we have chosen not to restrict articles to a monthly theme such as medical malpractice or premises liability. If you plan to write an article specifically for Plaintiff, please query our editor in advance with a brief outline of the article and when you propose to have it ready.
Please consider contributing to Plaintiff or serving on the editorial board that will provide peer review of all articles in the magazine. If you are interested in writing and/or serving on the editorial board, please send an email to Donna Bader, Editor: dbader@plaintiffmagazine.com. |

“The minute I heard Plaintiff was more than just an idea, I wanted to be involved. I have always enjoyed working with plaintiffs attorneys. My appellate practice consists primarily of representing plaintiffs. Our present system is heavily weighted in favor of big business and governmental entities that have the money to engage in protracted litigation. I enjoy representing the individual consumer and I love being part a magazine that speaks to lawyers who represent the little guy.” Ms. Bader is a Certified Specialist in Appellate Law* and complex law and motion. Since 1980, she has devoted herself exclusively to handling civil appeals and writs, preparing more than 300 briefs. She is the author of “California Summary Judgment and Related Termination Motions,” now published by Thomson-West. Her book is in its 6th year of publication. *Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization Join Donna Baders blog, “An Appeal to Reason,” at www.donnabader.com |
